Frequently Asked Questions

I provide bookkeeping and business consulting support for small to mid-sized businesses.
Bookkeeping services include ongoing monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable tracking, organized reporting, cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping, and ongoing organization and system support.
Consulting services are separate from bookkeeping and may include process improvement, SOPs, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, workflow support, planning, and organizing financial or operational information for better decision-making.
The goal is to help business owners keep accurate records, understand their numbers, improve processes, and make more confident decisions as their business grows.
-
Ongoing bookkeeping typically includes monthly transaction categorization, account reconciliations, and clear financial reports.
Depending on your needs, it may also include accounts payable and receivable tracking, organization of your financial systems, and support with questions that come up throughout the month.
The goal is to give you consistent, reliable financials you can understand and trust without having to manage every detail yourself.
-
That’s common, and I can help you get organized.
Cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping is handled as a separate, one-time project before transitioning into ongoing monthly support, if needed. This helps make sure your books are accurate, organized, and up to date moving forward.
I’ll review the current state of your records, identify what needs to be cleaned up, and outline a clear plan to get everything back on track.
-
Cleanup and catch-up work is priced based on the condition of your books, the volume of transactions, and the time required to bring everything up to date.
After an initial review, I’ll outline the scope of work and provide a fixed quote so you know what to expect before any cleanup work begins.
-
Yes. I offer business consulting support for clients who need help beyond basic bookkeeping.
This may include reviewing financial trends, improving processes, creating structure around workflows, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and organizing financial or operational information for better decision-making.
While I am a CPA, services are limited to bookkeeping and consulting support unless otherwise agreed in a separate written engagement.
-
The first step is a consultation so I can learn more about your business, your current setup, and the type of support you’re looking for.
From there, I’ll recommend an approach and outline the next steps. If it’s a good fit, we’ll move forward with a formal agreement and get everything set up.
You can request a consultation through the contact page to get started.
